The 2017 Steel Horse Rally brought more than 70,000 people to downtown Fort Smith and had a local economic impact of more than $13.8 Million. Thanks to the success of 3rd Annual Steel Horse Rally and the generosity and support of all of the sponsors and everyone who attended, the Steel Horse Rally Inc charity was able to donate more than $20,000 to local charities.

The Steel Horse Rally Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 charity established in 2014 to benefit local charities and help the local community. The first Rally was held May 1st & 2nd, 2015 in Fort Smith, AR and raised thousands for local charities with an attendance of more than 30,000 people and a local economic impact of more than $4.2 Million. In three short years the attendance has grown to an estimated record of more than 50,000 motorcycles and 75,000 attendees. The local positive economic impact of the 2017 SHR is estimated at $13.8 Million.
The annual charity motorcycle rally is open to all and helps several local charities. Charities benefiting from the 2017 Steel Horse Rally include Heroes on the Water, the Buddy Smith Veterans Home, The ARC for the River Valley, the Fort Smith Museum of History and Earthbound Angels.
The Steel Horse Rally has already received several local, regional and national awards for being an outstanding community event and for having great live entertainment. An annual tradition in Fort Smith, AR the Steel Horse Motorcycle Rally boasts the Thunder Through the Valley Motorcycle Parade, Vendor Village, Heroes Row of Military and Veterans organizations, poker runs, concerts, and helping, even more, charities each year.
Motorcycle riders from Dallas, TX, Memphis, TN, Tulsa, and Okla City OK, St Louis Mo and even further traveled to Arkansas for the rally and to enjoy all the area has to offer.
