The Steel Horse Rally Inc. is a non-profit charity with the mission of helping local charities that benefit children, veterans, and/or the local community. By completing this application, a charity/charitable organization may apply to be considered for a portion of the donations raised at the 2027 Steel Horse Rally, May 7th & 8th, 2027 in Fort Smith, Ark. All applications will be carefully reviewed and by the Steel Horse Rally Inc. Charity Board of Directors who will select organizations to be the recipients of donations raised from the 2027 Steel Horse Rally. An announcement will be made in early 2027 about the charities/organizations selected. Organizations may reapply each year.
If you would like to submit an application for your charitable organization, please complete Page 1 and Page 2 of the pdf/printed application or the entire online form version. You may attach/email one addition page to complete a question/questions on the application. No applications exceeding 3 pages will be accepted (the 2-page application, plus the front of one additional blank page, if needed). All applications must be received by mail (to the mailing address at the bottom of Page 2) or by e-mail by 5 p.m. on Dec. 31st, 2026. No hand-delivered, late, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, or duplicate applications will be accepted. All information will be kept confidential. The application must be completed by an organization’s director or officer.

The success of the Steel Horse Rally and raising charitable donations at the event depends on hundreds of volunteers who donate to help before, during, and after the event. How many adult volunteers (age 21 and up) will your organization be able to provide to help with clean-up on Sat., May 8th from 9:00 p.m. until midnight, and/or on Sun., May 9th from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.? (No training/experience is necessary; Other volunteer opportunities & times are available and can be scheduled.)(Required)
